MEET THE TEAM - KEELAN

Keelan is the OG of Urban Rec. He hosted the first season of Basketball back in March 2019 and has been with us ever since. He has been shooting hoops for years and is a super chill guy. He has a few tricks up his sleeve and knows a thing or two about how much elite athletes are paid. We sat down with Keelan and asked him a few questions to help you get to know this man better. 

1. What is the coolest thing about working with Urban Rec?Getting an opportunity to work in sport and enjoying sport with likeminded, easy going people.
2. How did you get involved with Urban Rec? Through Social media, contacted the GOAT Alyssa Hardie.
3. What is your favourite sport? I enjoy playing all sports, but basketball is #1.
4. What do you do when you are not event hosting? I work with children in an early childcare centre.
5. What is the nerdiest thing you do in your free time? I like to know how much money individual athletes make, from playing contracts to endorsements. I will stay up to ridiculous hours searching for stats online.  
6. What is your go-to Karaoke song? Nuthin' but a G thang by Snoop Doggy Dogg
7. Favourite TV Show? Shameless.
8. Name one celebrity dead/alive that you would like to have dinner with? Paul McCartney
9. What are five things you would take with you during the Zombie apocalypse? Baseball bat, knife, Tom Brady Jersey, Jordan 1’s….and a jacket

3. Have no eyebrows or only one eyebrow? I Already have no eyebrows.
4. Talk to animals or speak all foreign languages? Foreign languages. Un baguette.

6. Have feet that never stopped growing or hands that never stop growing? Hands, be the best wicket keeper since Adam Gilchrist.
7. Only be able to jump everywhere you go or only be able to walk on your hands? Kangaroo man it is.
