Priority Registration Policy

Priority registration is open to teams currently playing in a league with Urban Rec, and allows teams to register during a designated timeframe, (usually 7-10 days).

If your league typically sells out, priority registration also means that you have early access to register before the general public, but once the priority registration period ends, anyone can join. So if you know your league is always full, better to get in early using priority registration.

Your team captain is exclusively responsible for priority registration.  They will receive a secret link via email when priority registration opens.  This link will not be able to be used by anyone else, as it is tied to the captain’s member profile.  The priority registration link will expire when priority registration ends.

If you are changing sports, leagues or locations, the priority registration does not apply.  The priority registartion links are links to the league you are currently playing in for the current season. As such, it’s only applicable if you are continuing to play in the same league and location.

Sadly no.  The priority rego is only applicable to the team and captain who registered from the previous season.  If your team is remaining the same, but your captain is changing or leaving, please email us at [email protected] to come up with a solution.

Once priority registration finishes the priority registration links are no longer valid and the league is open to public registration.

So sorry, but once priority registration is over, time’s up!  We cannot reverse time.  Depending on your league, you may still be able to regsiter into the league as usual, if there is a spot still open!

Absolutely!  The captain of your individuals’ team will be responsible for this.  They, just like any other captain, will have received a priority registration link to access priority registration.  Please note that the priority registration is only applicable to teams, so you will need to register using the team registration option (obviously), rather than the individual registration option.

Sometimes we like spoiling and rewarding our teams during this period and sometimes we get sponsors who want to give away prizes at this time. It’s no guarantee! Getting into your league ahead of the general public is the main benefit.
